2 STOREY BUILDING IN MOSCHATO

The project focuses on the facelift and renovation of an existing two-storey building in Moschato, transforming both its interior and exterior while responding to its demanding urban context next to the highway. The new architectural identity is created through a clean, contemporary intervention, with the addition of lightweight metal balconies that introduce a strong rhythm to the façade while expanding the living spaces toward the exterior. The balconies act as a protective and transitional layer between the building and the harsh surroundings, while the renewed façade and interiors bring a sense of clarity, openness, and modernity to the existing structure. Rather than replacing the building, the design seeks to reinterpret and strengthen its existing character, adapting it to its intense urban environment.
